This weekend, many members of the lab helped out in a 24-hour sampling campaign in Elkhorn Slough! The coordinators (Aliya and Zoe) had this to say:
“Special shout out to the morning crew who helped us set up for the day, work through kinks and initial growing pains; Adina for negotiating with the pick n pull and police to let us stay overnight; Jim and Joel for all their documentation of the process; Amy for braving getting stuck in the banks of Yampah; Lucas for saving the day with a low tide sampling contraption and spending the night even though he wasn’t signed up; the whole night crew for making the tough parts fun and pulling through flawlessly when we were freezing and sleep deprived at 3 in the morning. “
Congrats on a successful mission!
